Dirigent Danny Oosterman In 1989 Danny Oosterman (Aarlanderveen, 1957) became conductor of the NJFO

Oosterman is professor of conducting at the conservatories of Amsterdam and Utrecht, and he is the conductor of some other highly recommended fanfare orchestras (see below). As a host conductor, he is also often requested for.

Oosterman studied trumpet and conduction at the conservatory of Utrecht. He graduated in 1984 with the minors klarinet and piano. He has arranged a lot of pieces from the symphonic and non-classical repertoire for fanfare orchestra. His ways have inspired many.





Oosterman is currently the principal conductor of the following orchestras:
- Fanfare 'Door Samenwerking Sterk' – Aarlanderveen
- Fanfare 'Andels Fanfare Corps' – Andel
- Nationaal Jeugd Fanfare Orkest (NJFO)
